Bangladesh Betar 630 AM

The very first ever wireless radio channel in the nation, known as the Audio Extension Center, began working. Initially, on 16th December 1939, the radio service has been launched on the leased home of'Nazimuddin Road' All India Radio. Later in 1960, the radio broadcasting centre was changed to the middle of Shahbagh. In this liberation warfare, this centre plays a special role within our excellent freedom movement through the introduction of'Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra'. On July 30, 1983, the broadcasting channel of Shahbag was changed to National Radio Building, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Agargaon.
